Thomas C. Woolley Jr., P.E. is the Chief Executive Officer of IOG Resources.

Mr. Woolley joined IOG in 2014 at inception. Prior to IOG, he was a Vice President at Energy Spectrum in their upstream private equity and financial advisory businesses. Before joining Energy Spectrum in 2011, he spent 5 years as a Reserves Engineer at Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. (NSAI). Mr. Woolley began his career as a Reservoir Engineer for BP, first in Houston, Texas, and then from Anchorage, Alaska.

Mr. Woolley received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is a Professional Engineer registered in the state of Texas and a member of SPE.

George Edwards is an Executive Vice President of IOG Resources, where he primarily focuses on new business origination.

Mr. Edwards joined IOG in 2014 at inception. Prior to IOG, he spent 4 years in the Corporate Finance group at EXCO Resources, Inc. and focused on capital markets, acquisitions and divestitures, hedging, and investor relations. He began his career as a CPA in KPMG’s audit practice.

Mr. Edwards earned his B.B.A in Accounting and M.S. in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.

Jay Heath is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IOG Resources.

Mr. Heath joined IOG in 2016. Prior to IOG, he was the Director of Finance and Accounting of Willow Bend Oil, a private equity-backed oil and gas operator. Mr. Heath started his career in 2008 at Ernst & Young in the audit and transaction advisory practices.

Mr. Heath received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Baylor University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Mr. Bennett previously served as President & CEO, and prior to that, as CFO, of SandRidge Energy. Prior to joining SandRidge, he served as a Partner at White Deer Energy and a Managing Director at GSO Capital Partners (now known as Blackstone Credit), and held a variety of other operational and financial roles across the energy industry (including as CFO at Aquilex, a former First Reserve portfolio company).
  • Mr. Bennett currently serves as a Director for Kimray Inc., with prior experience as a Director for Cheniere Energy, Crown Eagle Energy LP, PostRock Energy, SandRidge, Tapstone Energy, and Tellurian Inc., among others.
  • Member of the Board (IOGR & IOGR II).
  • Mr. Krueger currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of First Reserve, which he joined in 1999. Mr. Krueger is responsible for the overall management of First Reserve and sits on its Investment Committees, which are responsible for the supervision of the firm’s investment program and strategy.
  • Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. Krueger worked in the Energy group of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

  • Mr. Mueller previously served as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Southwestern Energy. Before Southwestern, he spent decades in various roles at several E&P companies including CDX Gas, Houston Exploration Company, Belco Oil & Gas and others.
  • Additionally, Mr. Mueller joined the First Reserve Senior Advisor Program in 2016. He currently serves as a Director for United Production Partners and as a member of the Finance Committee at Memorial Hermann.

  • Mr. Steen currently serves as a Managing Director at First Reserve, which he joined in 2011. Mr. Steen’s responsibilities include investment origination and structuring, due diligence, execution and monitoring of investments across the energy value chain.
  • Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. Steen worked in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse.

  • Mr. Wizel currently serves as a Managing Director at First Reserve, which he joined in 2007. Mr. Wizel is a member of the First Reserve Private Equity Investment Committee, and his responsibilities include investment origination, execution and exit of investments across the energy value chain.
  • Prior to joining First Reserve, Mr. Wizel was a member of the Investment Staff at Greenbriar Equity Group, and prior to that he worked at Credit Suisse First Boston.
